myProcesses is a powerful process manager tool for Windows that helps you kill troublesome processes, monitor active processes, start new processes, define and edit properties and view process details. It is one of the best process management tools that allow you to review the current processes and their activities. The standard output of a process is called standard output. It is a way of outputting data or information, which is redirected to other programs or software called “antitasks”. The Wikipedia article at StandardOutput and StandardError shows how it all works. One side-effect is, that when something is redirected to the system, a unique number is assigned to it. This number is usually called a “session ID”. A list of all running sessions can be found at OpenProcess. This session ID is used for the distinction between processes that belong to the same process group and that are listed in the resource monitor. In Windows Process Explorer we can see the following session IDs. How to get them: “Id“ is the code that is automatically generated. The number of the following character is the ordinal number. The “Name” column contains the session name. There is a way to get the session id with a command. use windows xp or 2008 or later 1. Open a command prompt as an Administrator 2. Type this command (without the quotes): net user "session name" “session id” /active:yes This will show you the session id of the running sessions. It will be similar to: 33951 (session name) You can then save this in a file with a name of your choice to watch it later. I.e. I have saved the data to a.txt file and this is the content: 33951 (session name) Hm, I would love to get rid of this execution number of a process but there is no way for me to get it without using a UAC-enabled Microsoft Windows. I'm on Windows 8 Pro x64. Also, our computers are protected by many antivirus applications. I’m sure we will find our way to to the needed information, but if I’m not wrong, the GDI handles the hardware graphics, which comes after the CPU, and the GDI handles the hardware graphics (maybe). Let’s see how to do this in a5204a7ec7
